Meet the Planner
Hi Y'all! My name is Haylea Smith! I am the founder of Auburn Ridge Weddings & Events. Here is a little bit about me... I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a degree in General Studies with a focus in Mass Communication, Communication Studies, and Family and Consumer Science. I have thrived in helping couples needs and wants come to fruition. I started in the event industry working for a wedding venue in New Braunfels Texas in 2015. I quickly realized this was a career field I loved! After being promoted to assistant manager and graduating college, I eventually left weddings to pursue corporate events and test those waters. After two years I realized wedding planning is where my heart and the Lord was pulling me to. Having experience in both of these fields has molded me to execute to the best of my ability. Throughout the last year I began coordinating on my own, gained great experience and now I am opening this great business! I am living in New Braunfels which is the wedding capital of the Hill Country and I am loving it! I have found my niche and I am so excited to make my dreams come true and begin my career completely on my own! Cheers to a new journey!
